Chess Tables
Chess Tables are not really essential to the game either - but since chess is usally played sitting down at a table, quite handy. There are any amount of types of tables - folding, expansible, low tables, high tables, multifunction playing tables etc.
Taracea folding table
Taracea surface - bone and ornamental inlay in Arabian style - two ashtrays, plenty of space for elbows and taken pieces. This table was made in the 70ies in Catalunya, and can be folded and stood flat against the wall.
Handmade cabinetmakers table
Single table, made for a cabinetmaker's final exam in the 60ies. filigrane legs, strong jointures, glass plate to protect the veneer inlay. Here shown with an italfama wood/metal set.
Massive wood table
Polish, combined with large handc arved pieces, from the 70ies. The table contains two drawers for the pieces, the upper part is detachable from the also massive support. Carved chess board, half of the squares burnished dark brown.
